Emerging Artist Program

This program is designed push your creativity to new limits. to create community, provide mentorship, and deepen artistic and professional practices in the arts. 

You will come up with a new project to create through the course of our six months together. We will have group critiques, mentor feedback and one on one's with the teacher to creative growth. The project will be shown at the end of the program in a group show that you produce with your peers in a public venue.

This course also includes professional development workshops, field trips to agencies and guest speakers. We will focus largely on how to build your personal network and use the social capital of our connections as a program to help you get your work seen! 

This program is for students in the beginning years of their career as an artist and you must be 21 and up!

Desired Outcomes:

• 1 dope book or website that gets you work and represents you & your accomplishments

• Development of a network of peers and creative industry contacts that can hire you or refer you for work

• Complete a creative project

• A group exhibition attended by a star-studded list of producers, editors, gallery owners and art directors

• Recruiting the best students for the upcoming 2021 - 2022 Residency Program.
