At NYC SALT, we are constantly amazed by the incredible journeys our alumni embark on after leaving our program. Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight Ayman Siam, a talented photographer whose recent work has landed him one of his biggest accomplishments—photographing Hasan Minhaj’s “Off With His Head” tour at the iconic Radio City Music Hall.
Ayman’s journey is not only a testament to hard work and creative vision but also a shining example of what can be achieved when you dare to dream big.
Setting the Stage for Success
Ayman’s connection with NYC SALT began as a young photographer, eager to develop his skills and find his path in the industry. Throughout his time with us, he showed a deep passion for storytelling through his lens. The NYC SALT program gave him the tools, mentorship, and experiences to grow as an artist, but it was Ayman’s own drive and ambition that set him on his current path.
One of Ayman’s goals for 2024 was to photograph one of Hasan Minhaj’s live shows. A goal that might seem out of reach for some became a reality for Ayman, a reminder of the power of setting intentions and working toward them with purpose and faith. Not only did he photograph one of Minhaj’s shows, but he did so at one of the most iconic venues in the world—Radio City Music Hall.
A Moment to Remember
Reflecting on his experience, Ayman described the moment as surreal, not just because of the magnitude of the opportunity but also because of the person he was photographing. "Hasan is one of the kindest souls", Ayman shared, a sentiment that only added to the joy of capturing this event.
This achievement wasn’t just a win for Ayman; it was a powerful example of what happens when you combine talent, hard work, and unwavering belief in yourself. His story embodies what NYC SALT is all about—providing young artists with the tools and support they need to bring their dreams to life.
Dreaming Bigger and Bolder

"The only thing left to do now is dream bigger and bigger," Ayman said—a motto we hope will inspire other young creatives to pursue their passions relentlessly.
